Driven out of the house by father, 21-year-old son commits suicide

AHMEDABAD: In an unfortunate incident 21-year-old Gajendra Yadav committed suicide by hanging himself with a rubber tube tying it to a metal rod of a mini truck at Sanjay Chowk in Amraiwadi on Thursday morning.
Police sources said Yadav took the extreme step after he was driven out of the house by his father Jalebsingh, resident of Amraiwadi on Wednesday for fighting with his younger brother and abusing his mother in an inebriated condition.
Amraiwadi police sources said according to the statement of Jalebsingh, his younger son who drives an auto called him up on Thursday morning that Yadav has committed suicide by hanging himself to an iron rod of a mini truck.
“Jalebsingh has mentioned in his statement that on Wednesday night Yadav had come home in an inebriated condition. He had slash marks made by sharp edged blade on chest. Yadav then fought with his younger brother about wearing clothes and also abused his mother. Angered by his behavior Jalebsingh drove him out of the house” said a senior police official.
Police sources said at present it seems that Yadav took the extreme step as he got hurt after being driven out of the house by his father.
